A book of memoirs of former Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh, who was the only woman in the Paris Talks on ending American War in Vietnam, will be released throughout the country on June 12.
Madame Nguyen Thi Binh was one of the witnesses of the period of fierce struggle in the liberation of the south and the reunification of the country and contributed greatly towards it.
Her life attracted people with power, intelligence, spirit and fortitude.
She was Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of Delegations for the Peace Negotiations in Paris.
The 400-page book will tell of her life, her family, friends and love for the country.
Madame Binh will attend the book launch at the French Cultural Centre L'Escape in Hanoi on June 12.
