There will be some activities for the public to take part -- like sea and island tours, eating street food, cooking contest, beer festival, and wine mixture.
On the opening day the Miss Vietnam 2006, Mai Phuong Thuy, will inaugurate her photo exhibition entitled “Ve dep truoc bien” (Beauty before the sea).
When asked about the festival, Diem said it is a good opportunity to promote the beauty of Vietnam, especially Nha Trang, to foreign tourists. “To me, this is also a good chance to express my love for my country.”
Sea Festival 2009 is organized biennially by Khanh Hoa Province and France’s department of Morbihan in Nha Trang.
