Actor The Anh was born on April 3, 1938 in Hanoi. He participated in more than 60 movies and was well-known with impressive roles in renowned films, including Moi Tinh Dau (First love) in 1977 and Noi Gio (wind uprising) in 1964.
He is also a famous actor on stage with main roles in popular plays, such as Doi Mat (The eyes), Chuong Dong Ho Dien Kremlin (The Clock Bell of Kremlin Palace), Co Be Danh Trong Tran (The Girl Beating the War drum).
He was conferred the title of People’s Artist in 2001.
His body is being kept at the Ho Chi Minh City Funeral House on Le Quy Don Street from October 1-3 and buried in Phuc An Vien cemetery in district 9 after a cremation.
