Piano prodigy to return home, perform in HCMC

Pianist Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, winner of France’s Concours Piano awards for the last two years, will perform at a solo concert at the HCMC Conservatory of Music on August 5.

Pianist Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan will perform in Vietnam on August 5 at the HCMC Conservatory of Music. She return after studying music for seven years in Moscow.
She will play Piano Concerto in A minor by Schumann and Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Minor by Chopin.
She will be accompanied by the HCMC Conservatory of Music’s orchestra. The show will be conducted by Do Kien Cuong, who has successfully conducted other major concerts in the city, including Unlimited Symphony, a solo concert by Israel pianist Tom Zalmanov.
Ms.Ngan, 20, was born into a musical family and began to learn the piano at the age of four. She later took the middle course at the HCMC Conservatory of Music.
At 13, she moved to the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. While studying, Ms.Ngan gave many concerts featuring masterpieces by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin.
