Records Book to Be Released

A book listing more than 500 Vietnamese records in various fields has just been released by the Vietkings Joint Stock Company, a joint venture of the Viet Nam Book of Records and the Viet Nam Agency Publishing House.

The book lists hundreds of records collected since 2004. It is 288 pages long and includes records relating to Buddhism and the 2008 United Nations Day of Vesak.

More than 5,000 copies will go on sale at bookstores of the Fahasa Book Distribution Company nationwide on Tuesday at a price of VND280,000 (US$17).
The book will be translated into English and released to foreign readers in mid-August.

Vietkings will set up a fund to support disabled people who hold stable jobs.
