Singapore wins international kylin dance fest

Singapore emerged the winner after two days of competition at the first international kylin, lion and dragon dance festival hosted by Ho Chi Minh City, followed by Macau and the host team.

The performance by the Singapore team impressed with their high skills to win 9.16 points.
 
Macau scored 9.1 points, followed by the host team at 9.05 points
 
All profits from ticket sales at the event will be donated to the city’s Red Cross Association and Fund for the Poor.
 
The festival was co-organized by the HCMC Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; District 1’s Center for Sports and Gymnastics and HTC Corp. It was held at the Nguyen Du Stadium in district 1 on November 15-16.
 
The event attracted troupes from Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
