The 38th National Television Festival opens in Lam Dong

The 38th National Television Festival opened in Da Lat City in the central highland province of Lam Dong on December 19.

Around 496 entries of 106 radio and television units throughout the country were sent to the organization board to join the competition. Works include all genres of the television industry, including children’s programs, documentary, reportage, science and education, talk shows, dialogue, programs in ethnic minority languages, music, and TV serial.
For the first time, the festival includes a special category for “Documentary television series”.
In addition, movies adapted from foreign films, literature works, and documentary series are allowed to take part in this year’s competition.
As part of the event, there will be photo exhibitions, nominated work screenings, exchanges between television makers and audiences, free screenings, seminars and more.
The film fest will run until December 22.
