Three Vietnamese cartoons to join in Int’l Cartoon Festival

The organizational board of a short film cartoon contest yesterday announced three best cartoons to join in International Cartoon Festival at Chuncheon in South Korea in September.

The contest was held by Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, Vietnam Cinema Department and Vietnam Animation Studio receiving 22 entries of animation makers.
The organizational board included directors, Vietnamese and Korean cartoon experts and makers.
The first prize was offered to film marker Pham Ngoc Tuan with the entry of “Father of chick” (Cha cua ga con); and the second prize went to Colory Cartoon Company with the entry of  “Lu and Robo” (Lu va Robo). The third prize was granted to student Phan Ngoc Thuy Duong with the “Friendship Cake” (Chiec banh tinh ban).
On the same day, the 2015 Vietnam- Korea Cartoon Festival was also opened in Hanoi. During the event, the organizational board will screen freely cartoons for children and organize exchange programs with Korean cartoon makers.
