Vietnamese writers, including Ho Anh Thai, Nguyen Thi Thu Hue, and Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, will travel to Sweden for the Gothenburg International Book Fair 2007.

A collection of short stories and a novel by Ho Anh Thai, and a book by Nguyen Ngoc Thuan will be presented in Swedish by the Sweden's Tranan Publishing House.
The Vietnamese authors will take part in literary conferences and talks with the public at the Gothenburg and Stockholm cities. They will also meet and exchanges experiences with Swedish publishing houses, the Sweden Association of Writers, the Children’s Literature Institute, the Swedish International Library, and more.
The annual Gothenburg International Book Fair taking place from mid-September to mid-October attracts a great number of authors, publishers, agents, teachers, librarians, and book lovers.
The fair is a delight for any literary enthusiast and provides a great opportunity to browse through the many books on display, including works by established writers as well as titles by new and emerging talents. There are also a number of seminars and readings led by some the world’s best-loved authors.
The 23rd Gothenburg International Book Fair 2007 will draw 727 writers and lecturers worldwide.
