Wool dolls represent Vietnam’s 54 peoples at exhibition

An exhibition of more than 400 handmade woolen dolls representing the 54 peoples in Viet Nam is being held at the Y Ngoc –Si Hoang gallery in Ho Chi Minh City.

The dolls have been created by Nguyen Thi Thuc from Da Lat City, who goes under an artisan name of Hien Thuc.

She plans to set up a workshop to make these dolls that will provide jobs for children with hearing impairment in the hill resort town.

The exhibition at 135 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, District 1 will open until November 29.
