The scholarship-giving ceremony took place in the Politics Fresher Center in district 5.
Vu Dinh Lieu Fund was set up 24 years ago with the name of Sponsoring Fund for young talents in Tra Vinh Province and then renamed Vu Dinh Lieu scholarship fund with spirit “ For education career”.
In addition to awarding scholarships this time, the scholarship fund has supported students in the northern province of Nam Dinh and the Mekong delta province of Hau Giang.
From 2010 to now, the fund has awarded nearly 3,000 scholarships worth over VND7 billion ($301,056) to encourage poor students in learning.
