Program to help poor students for national examination

The central Student Union of Vietnam and the Ministry of Education and Training yesterday jointly ran a program to help needy students who are going to sit for the national examination.

This year is the second time the program organized nationwide. Volunteers will provide assistance to students and their relatives on information of free accomodation, houses for rent at cheap price, food eateries, transportation and paper formalities.

The highlights of this year program is that it is run earlier than previous years from May to July. It aims to establish and train volunteers and preparation.

Youth communist unions will lead volunteers. So far, some 650 volunteers teams including 20,000 volunteers in cities and provinces while 2,729 teams with nearly 65, 000 volunteers were set up in 

The organizers provided clothes, hats and umbrellas to volunteers across cities and provinces.
