The department asks schools not to receive visits of foreigners without its permission or the approval of the HCMC People’s Committee during examination time, national holidays, and the summer holiday.

When receiving a recommendation document from any overseas delegation for exchange or work, heads of schools must report and ask for approval from the department as well as the HCMC People’s Committee.

Offices under the management of the district’s Division of Education and Training should also ask permission from their own division.

Besides, no later than 3 days after the exchange or working session with foreign delegations, schools have to report all activities to the department.

Schools are also requested to welcome neither those who come to advertise for overseas study counseling or direct scholarship introduction to students in their campus nor businesses coming for advertising purposes or product introduction and trading activities with no educational purposes.

All activities related to businesses or sponsorship must have approval in written form from the HCMC Department of Education and Training.

In this summer, the HCMC Department of Education and Training will unexpectedly visit schools to investigate the observance of regulations on welcoming foreign delegations or overseas study counseling activities and advertising activities.
