To help improve awareness and understanding of the UK, “finding out about the UK” competitions were launched earlier for high school and university students.

The competitions have received hundreds of entries, and its finals will be held on the 24th in Ho Chi Minh City and 27th in Da Nang. Two winners will receive a 39,000-pound (US$68,000) scholarship for a two-year A-level programme in the UK.

A Career Talk with Standard Chartered Bank will provide students information about the skill sets employers look for in potential employees.

Students visiting the exhibition will also have the chance to experience a real classroom environment including lectures on the economy.

Visitors are encouraged to register online at www.educationuk.org/vietnam before attending the exhibition to qualify for a lucky-draw prize of either a free English course or a free IELTS test at the British Council.
