Viet Nam has officially discussed wide ranging academic co-operation with the United States, including the establishment of a Vietnamese-North American University in the country.
The first official meeting on education co-operation was held in Ha Noi earlier this month between the Ministry of Education and Training and the State Department of the United States.
The meeting discussed terms of a signed agreement on enhancing cooperation between Vietnamese and North American universities and collages.
