Ho Chi Minh City has ranked 20 public medical clinics of hospitals and district center and 188 private clinics. The hospitals have been ranked based on their performance in certain specialties and procedures
The rankings weighed different factors like facilities, personnel quality, and medical-analysis system.
Six medical clinics have been ranked the best facilities in the city, 42 other ranked relatively good, 39 are averagely good while 41 are sub-standard and 14 other are shut down without report.
Five medical clinics including Medic Tan Hung in District 5, Le Minh Xuan in Binh Chanh District, Cho Dem in Binh Chanh District, Thien Phuoc in Cu Chi District and Hoang Long in Binh Thanh District have been ranked the worst because they fell foul of regulations including unpermitted advertisement, carelessly written patients’ medical record and untrained staff employment.
