The Drug Administration of Vietnam has just sent a document to the Departments of Health in all provinces and cities as well as to Hoa Viet Co. Ltd. regarding the withdrawal of three cosmetics produced by a branch of this company.
The Testing Center of Dong Nai Province stated that all these cosmetics were not able to pass the quality test on the limit of heavy metal in cosmetics since they all carried more mercury than allowed.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requested that Hoa Viet Co. Ltd. send notice to all its distributors and users while sending a report on product withdrawal activity to the Drug Administration of Vietnam no later than June 15.
The Dong Nai Province Department of Health cooperates with related agencies to monitor the observance of law of Hoa Viet Co. Ltd. and its branch. They should also closely watch the withdrawal of the faulty products and implement proper punishments to law violators.
