Physical therapists provide gratis treatment at disabled people’s home

The Department of Health in Ho Chi Minh City is piloting the rehabilitation program for people with disabilities in districts 4, 6, 8 and Tan Phu.


Physical therapists provide gratis treatment at disabled people’s home
Those who suffer from cerebrovascular accident, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, scoliosis and Parkinson will enjoy the program. They can arrive at infirmaries in districts 6, 8 and Tan Phu to have gratis treatment.
Those who can’t move to infirmaries, medical workers and physical therapists will come their home with machines to treat them.
Presently, four doctors and more than 20 therapists take part in the program. People in different districts can gather in groups and will receive gratis treatment at home from medical workers.
