Police takes proceedings against incident in Hoa Binh Hospital

Police in the northern province of Hoa Binh yesterday decided to prosecute the incident involving seven deaths of dialysis patients in Hoa Binh Hospital.

In a meeting on the incident, Chairman of People’s Committee in Hoa Binh province Nguyen Van Quang ordered the Department of Health and the General Hospital  mobilized medical workers and equipment to provide intensive treatment to patients in the incident.
The health sector must have plan to treat patients with end-state kidney failure while the hospital’s Kidney ward stopped operation temporarily. 

Hospital director Truong Quy Duong, on behalf of managing board, showed his sorrow on the incident and sent condolence to families of dead people apologizing the public.

Deputy Chief of Hoa Binh Police station colonel Pham Van Su said that local police and their colleagues from the Ministry of Public Security examined the hospital and seven corpses. Police decided to take proceedings against the incident to probe the cause to calm down relatives of dead people.
