Third hospital gets Joint Commission International Certification

General Director of Hanh Phuc Hospital Nguyen Thuc Anh said that to get JCI certification from February, 2017,  the hospital has organized over 400 discussions, 200 training programs, and seminars, 45 projects, initiatives and 50 drills for patients’ safety.

The hospital has satisfied all requirements in the first assessment of experts of Joint Commission International in September, 2019. 

The certification giving ceremony had the witness of Nguyen Duc Vinh, Director of the Ministry of Health’s Maternal and Child Health Department and leaders of the departments of health in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern province of Binh Duong.

Before, Vinmec and FV hospitals also got Joint Commission International certification.

JCI is leading health care improvement worldwide through its work with the Joint Commission as a WHO Collaborating Center for Patient Safety Solutions, through development of international standards for quality and safety and international patient safety goals. JCI has granted certifications to more than 700 clinics and hospitals around the world.
