Treatment Broken Hand at Supra Condyle

Ha Noi Saint Paul Hospital says it was successful in obsteoclasis technique for treatment of broken hands at the supra-condyle in children without an open operation.

Hospital Deputy Director Mrs. Y Nhi says this fracture occurs most commonly to children. It is caused by a fall with the outstretched hand.

Currently, many hospitals have to carry out an open operation to disclose the dislocated bone to put it back to the right place. With the technique of pinning nails through skin under the control of a C-arm device, doctors can now immobilize the fractured bones in place without an open operation.
