The Ministry ò Health decided to set up 4 quick response teams to keep vigil on the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) in the North, the South, the Central and the Highlands region, said Deputy Health Minister Professor Nguyen Thanh Long yesterday.
The four teams are asked to be ready for the investigation, supervision and quarantine as well as implementation of measures against the disease.
In addition to undertaking the disease prevention mission in the North, the team in the North will be ready to assist other regions in case of necessary or in case of complicated disease development. Team leaders must closely liaise with the head of local anti-disease groups.
