32 foreigners get Vietnamese citizenship

Thirty two foreign nationals, including 22 Cambodians and two Chinese, acquired Vietnamese citizenship at a ceremony organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice on March 24.

The department’s deputy director, Nguyen Nguyet Hue, congratulated the country’s newest citizens and promised them all help in becoming a part of society.

The 32 people live in the city.

State President Nguyen Minh Triet had earlier issued the nationalization decisions for them.
