Ho Chi Minh City solemnly celebrated the 60th anniversary of National Resistance and the 62nd anniversary of the Vietnamese People’s Army in Cu Chi District today.

Chairman of the HCMC Fatherland Front Committee spoke of the glorious past and urged the city’s people and army to bring into play the nation’s traditions and overcome challenges ahead.
Addressing the meeting, representatives of the HCMC Youth Union expressed their confidence in the country’s direction under the leadership of the Communist Party.
They also talked about the targets set by young people for the development of the city.
After the meeting, participants visited Ben Duoc Temple to pay tribute to martyrs and heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence.
