City Gets Ready for Personal Income Tax Law

With Personal Income Tax Law to come into effect in the new year, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department has issued guidelines for allotting personal income tax codes to organizations, enterprises, and individuals who pay taxes.

It said organizations and companies would have to enclose a copy of the decision to establish and a personal income tax declaration form along with the application.
Individuals would have to include a copy of their identity card or military identity card, household register and a personal income tax declaration form. 
There are two million people paying income tax in the city, including 1.8 million employees.
