The project aims to develop production, distribution and apply safe technology for high-quality crops grown in clean environment. The program will also conserve water and energy, monitor crop protection and stabilize production and development in accordance with environmental and market quality requirements.
The city is expected to cover an area of approximately 15,000 hectares for clean vegetables and 2,100 hectares for flowers and ornamental plants under VietGAP (Good Agricultural Practice) standards.
In addition, two flower trading centers will be established with the participation of more than 20 enterprises and organizations for growing and supplying safe vegetables, flowers and ornamental plants.
