The Ho Chi Minh City government will continue to improve administrative procedure to create better business conditions, according to a decision signed by People’s Committee Chairman Le Hoang Quan.
The city plans to implement business support programs in lending as well as promote trading and investing in and out of the country.
Under the decision, state-owned companies are to reorganize their retail channels and storehouse networks to reduce administrative costs and product prices.
The city also wants to increase the number of well-trained laborers.
In addition, it will cancel ineffective and less-urgent projects and focus on important projects in the fields of health, education and drainage and flood prevention.
