City's Int'l Airport Set for Expansion in 2010

At Tan Son Nhat International Airport

Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City will be expanded to handle 15-17 million passengers per year by 2010.


Under the plan, announced by the Southern Airport Authority and submitted to the Prime Minister for approval, the airport would be expanded by 30ha to accommodate 60 aircraft at a time, double the current capacity.

The SAA said the airport is expected to welcome 11 million passengers this year.
