The male and female winners will win a return trip on Vietnam Airlines to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, or Singapore.
The men’s runner-up will win a three-day stay at the Sofitel Dalat Palace and the women’s runner-up will win a trip to the Life Resort, Quy Nhon.
In the teenagers’ category, the winner and runner-up will get a New Balance Trainer voucher and US$50 and $25 in cash.
The organizers expect to attract 5,000 participants and raise more than last year’s sum of US$35,000. The money will be used to help disadvantaged Vietnamese or support projects run by local charities.
Last year the raised money was used to fund a medical program run by the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation, improve road-safety awareness in Dong Nai province at 30 schools, and improve the Education center for Disabled Children in HCMC’s District 4.
