HCM City, South Korea enhance relationship

The meeting is one of the activities of the HCMC-Gyeongju World Cultural Festival 2017 which is scheduled to take place from November 11 to December 3, marking the 20th anniversary of Vietnam-Korea diplomatic relation.
Mr. Lee Hyuk expressed his thanks to the HCM City’s government and relevant departments in supporting the preparation works of the festival over the past one year as well as creating conditions for the Korean community working and studying in Ho Chi Minh City.
For his part, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong said that the city authorities have signed a cooperation agreement with 5 localities of South Korea, including the 22-year cooperation relation between HCM City and Busan.
He hoped that the festival will strengthen cooperation and relationship in various fields, such as economy, trade, investment and others between the two countries.
