HCMC hosts photo exhibition for anniversary of Communist Party

Ho Chi Minh City is hosting an exhibition to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year) and the 81st anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The exhibition opened on January 27 and will focus on the 81st anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3.
 
As many as 80 photographs and excerpts from data files are on display at the exhibition in Lam Son Park, District 1.
 
These photographs and excerpts highlight the great historic role played by the Party and late President Ho Chi Minh. The exhibition also displayed images of the many achievements made by the city in development, politics, economy, culture and society.
 
The exhibition will last till February 10.
 
On the same day, an exhibition displaying special Tet issues of over 400 newspapers and magazines from all over the country opened at the Can Tho Library in Can Tho City.
 
200 books based on the role of President Ho in founding the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Party’s leadership in national Party congresses are also part of the exhibits. Some 50 photographs featuring 11 national Party congresses and congresses of the Can Tho City Party Committee are on display.
 
Previously, the Can Tho City Union of Literature and Art Associations had organized an exhibition of 120 outstanding photos taken by members of the Can Tho Artistic Photography Association to celebrate Tet and the Party’s anniversary.
