HCMC learns about artificial intelligence in Germany

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan and a high- ranking delegation yesterday spent working hours with Consulate General of Vietnam in Frankfurt, Germany.

At the working, the city Party chief expressed his pleasure at blossomed friendly cooperation ties between Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany via recent visits of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister cum Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh in February, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Peter Altmaier in March, 2019. 

Germany chose Ho Chi Minh City as the first locality to deploy construction project of German House that affirmed Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh City being one of the country’s the most important partners in the Southeast Asian region. 

During the visit, Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan introduced the city’s development and he shared that this visit not only contributes to fostering comprehensive relations with European partners but also brings a favorable opportunity to learn development experiences about planning, creative urban development, human resource training, improving the education quality and cultural exchange; to discuss bilateral issues and update policies of partners in relations with Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City.

Approaching new development trends and technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, models of financial center development, digital and knowledge economy developments, vocational training are important experience lessons within the visit framework. 

Through these lessons, Ho Chi Minh City will plan to seek future partners for the city’s sustainable development.

As this reason, Secretary Nguyen Thien Nhan hoped that the Consul General's staff would continue supporting and affirming their role in promoting friendly cooperation relations between Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City and Germany.
