HCMC's Hotels, Hospitals to Have Power-Saving Financial Aid

All the hotels and hospitals in the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), the big energy consumers in the country, will have financial assistance of around 20 to 40 percent in equipping themselves with energy-saving devices, announced Director of the HCMC Energy Efficiency Center at a seminar on Saturday.

Besides, the center will offer these buildings free technological consultancy with answers to technical problems they may encounter during the operation.

The announcement was released at the seminar held by the HCMC Department of Science and Technology.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Jonh Budi, director of the PT. Metropolitan Bayu Industri (an Indonesian Manufacturer of Air Conditioning products), showcased his products, which could help consumers cut the electric bills in half.

Also, Dr. Le Chi Hiep presented some solar energy equipment to heat water with reasonable prices of around VND4 million at the event.
