“I love my country” journey comes to town

More than 1,000 young Vietnamese people attended the journey called “I love my country" in HCMC on October 20.

Participants from HCMC and its seven neighboring provinces in the South East region offered incense and flowers in tribute to the late leader Nguyen Tat Thanh at Ho Chi Minh Museum – Ho Chi Minh City Branch.
They also joined meaningful activities at Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, visited and presented gifts to children at the Tam Binh Children Protection and Nourishment Center in Thu Duc district.
Youth joined hands to remove waste in a park on Le Thi Hoa Street in Thu Duc district, planted 1,000 trees, placed 10 stone benches, installed 6 sets of outdoor exercise equipment products and 4 solar powered lights as well as grinded concrete a surface area of 400 m2 in the park.
The journey, “I love my country" which was launched by the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF) Central Committee in 63 cities and provinces across Vietnam, aims to welcome the 8th National Congress of the Federation.
