Japanese help poor patients

All proceeds from the 13th annual charity fair held by Japan Business Association of Ho Chi Minh City (JBAH) go directly to the city’s Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients (SAPP), which provides free health care and medical treatment to impoverished people.

Japan’s Consulate-General and JBAH on March 27 gave VND700 million ($39,500) to SAPP.

The donation will be offered to three hospitals in the city, including Pediatrics Hospital No. 2 - $12,000, the HCMC Trauma and Orthopedic Hospital - $16,000 and Odonto – Maxillo and Facial Hospital - $11,500.
