Prudential offers health insurance cards to the poor

Prudential Vietnam, a leading foreign life insurer in Vietnam, offered 500 health insurance cards to poor people of Can Gio and Cu Chi Districts, Ho Chi Minh City on January 10 and 11.

In addition, another 500 health insurance cards will be offered to the poor people of Hoc Mon and Go Vap Districts in January and February 2011.

The total cost of the 1,000 health insurance cards is VND220 million (US$11,000).

During the Tet holidays, Prudential VN also plans to offer gifts to the poor people of HCMC, with a total cost of VND100 million (USD $5,000).

In the last ten years of operation in Vietnam, Prudential has played an important role in raising funds from people, in order to invest in the national economy, as well as providing expertise and human resources. In addition, to the many business activities that Prudential Vietnam has been involved with, they also participate in many social events.
