Ms. Alicia Elvira Corredere Morales, Head of the Asian-Oceania Department of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with Other Peoples and SGGP Editor-in-chief Tran The Tuyen

Mr. Tran The Tuyen, SGGP Editor-in-chief and Head of the newspaper’s Viet Nam–Cuba Friendship Branch warmly welcomed the Cuban official.

A general introduction of the newspapers activities and its relentless work as one of the information bridges that connect Viet Nam to the world was discussed during the meeting.

Ms. Morales expressed her appreciation for the support and contribution of SGGP and the Viet Nam–Cuba Friendship Branch for strengthening the long-term and stable bilateral relations between the two countries.

The two countries established diplomatic relations in 1960. In spite of the ups and downs of the world economy and politics, the relationship between Vietnam and Cuba has been maintained and developed.

The relationship reflects sincere feelings and the faithful, consistent positions of the two Parties, the Governments and the people towards the Revolutionary process taking place in each country.
