The voters highly valued the 12th National Assembly’s operations in making decisions on the country’s important issues as well as its concerns about the people’s living condition.
The NA has performed well its law-making, supervision and diplomacy-related work, helping raise the NA’s position and prestige and create trust in the people, the voters said.
However, they pointed out shortcomings of the 12th NA, such as slow law making, weakness in supervising economic groups’ operation and the Land Law’s implementation. The 12th NA was not successful in fighting corruption, they said, adding that there are still many difficulties in the people’s living conditions.
President Triet thanked the voters for their confidence in the NA and the city’s NA deputy delegation, which, he said, encouraged the deputies to do their utmost to fulfill their role as the representatives of the people.
He highly spoke of the voters’ opinions and shared their views on shortcomings and weakness of the NA and authorities at all levels, difficulties in the people’s living conditions.
