Vietnamese Firms in Germany Seek Investment Back Home

Le Hoang Quan, Chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee, praised cooperative efforts between the Germany-based Vietnamese Business Association and Viet Nam.

Mr. Quan also introduced the association’s representatives, who are currently visiting Viet Nam, to some projects requiring investment in such areas as traffic management, construction, hotel services and high technology.

The Chairman expressed his hope that the visit would boost cooperation between local and overseas firms.

The Vietnamese Business Association in Germany has 6,000 members made up mostly of small and medium-sized enterprises. The main objective of their first visit to Viet Nam is to study the business environment here.

The visitors will journey to the provinces of Dong Nai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau in the coming days.
