Traffic police in the central province of Ha Tinh seized 200 kilograms of pig internal organs being transported in a bus on December 20.

Most of the meat was found rotting and stinking.

At 9:00 pm on December 20, a joint inspection team of the local traffic police department, led by Major Dinh Tien Hoang, forced a bus to stop, based on some suspicions that it was carrying illegal goods. Upon conducting a check of the bus, they found nearly 200 kg of pig organs packed in 3 cartons.

The bus driver, Le Xuan Nghia, 31, from Quang Ngai Province, told the officers that he had received the cartons at the Nuoc Ngam bus station in Hanoi from an unknown motorbike driver and asked to  deliver  to a customer in the central province of Quang Binh.
