Economic Crime and Corruption Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Public Security last night decided to prosecute and hold in custody seven former leaders of Dai Tin Bank, which has been renamed Vietnam Construction Bank (VNCB).

The offenders have been prosecuted for breaking loan regulations in operations of credit institutions and deliberately violating state regulations on economic management causing severe consequences.

Among the prosecuted is Hoang Van Toan, former chairman of the board of directors of Dai Tin Bank and Tran Son Nam, former director general.
