Thieu said Dung and Anh imported cell phones from Hong Kong on their own.
The second day of the appeal court in Ho Chi Minh City on mobile phone smuggling and tax evasion by the company focused on the accused's hand phone smuggling orders.
As he denied the charges, the judgment board showed evidence Thieu had confessed to investigators that he had led four handphone smuggling rings, but he kept rejecting.
The People’s Supreme Court in Ho Chi Minh City started the appeal court on March 20.
After the preliminary court in November 2005, all defendants appealed the ruling.
