Three Viet-Aussie women arrested for drug trafficking

Vietnamese police on June 12 arrested three Vietnamese-Australian women in HCMC for attempting to carry drugs to Australia.

According to the police, the three women are Trang Bich Phuong, one named Chinh, and the other not yet identified. One of them was captured at Tan Son Nhat Airport, and the other two at a hotel.

They were arrested with tens of condoms packed with tiny nylon bags of a white powder, which are suspected to be heroin. Authorities are waiting for the test result from the investigation agency.

Police are expanding investigation.
