€3m for Innovation Partnership Program

The Finnish government will donate €3 million to the Innovation Partnership Program in Vietnam which is aimed at helping Vietnam become an industrial country with a medium income by 2020, said a representative of Finland Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July 23.

A bilateral agreement was signed between Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology and Finland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July 23 in Hanoi.

The three-year program will be started in August, with the program also benefiting from Vietnam adding a further VND9 billion.

The program will help Vietnam to create a creative environment, promote management capability in technology science, as well as boost cooperation between state agencies and private companies between Vietnam and Finland.
