The Czech Government has decided to resume issue of long-term visas to Vietnamese, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zuzana Opletalova told the media at the Czech embassy in Ha Noi on December 31.

It had temporarily suspended long-term visas and stay permits in November.

Vietnamese ambassador to the country, Vuong Thua Phong, said a completely new system to provide equal opportunity to all visa applicants would soon be launched by the Czech embassy in Hanoi.
