The Department of Overseas Labor on Monday warned that some websites had recently posted fraud job recruitment offers of work in Portugal and Canada.
The suspected websites include www.vatgia.com; www.chotoanquoc.com; www.tiepthi.com.vn; www.muaban.com.vn; www.duhocvieclam.com; and www.chovinh.com. These sites have given falsified information on income and work details.
The department has inspected and found that organizations and individuals that are offering recruitment abroad do not have valid license to take Vietnamese workers overseas, but are working as middle men.
To prevent fraud, workers must first verify with the Department of Overseas Labor via phone number 043.8249517 before accepting any work offer.
People can also call the Overseas Workers’ Center via 043.7346093 to determine if the recruitment offer is genuine or if the business mentioned is legal.
Besides, they can also contact the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in provinces and cities or at job centers for more precise information.
