Flood victims receive free medicine and medical treatment

The Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper, Khanh Hoa Newspaper, the Sai Gon Charity Doctor Club and CPT surgery thread company joined hands with each other to give gifts, medicine and medical treatment to thousands of people in the flood-hit provinces in southern central region on November 6 and 7.

Lieutenant colonel and doctor Doan Van Tien (R), of the Border Guard High Command, examines a patient.

The local volunteer youth force early cleaned damp and muddy classrooms which were soaked in water during floods and changed them into temporary medical rooms for the working delegation.

Doctors, nurses and pharmacists together with all people in the delegation were utterly dedicated to their work, not paying poor working conditions.

The local authorities highly appreciated the delegation to provide urgent aid to flood victims in the worst-hit provinces.

The medical delegation gave medicine and medical treatment to nearly 3,000 ethnic people in Ninh Thuan and Khanh Hoa provinces.
