Ho Chi Minh City Businesspeople Association’s leaders have organized a meeting to deploy a gift-donation and financial aid to support the “Doll’s House” program of the Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper.
Dr. Pham Hao Hon, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Businesspeople Association, appealed the members to respond the “Doll’s House” program and bring the joy to the disadvantaged children on the Children’s Day.
Mr. Le Viet Toa, deputy director of Viet Tien Garment Import & Export Company (VTEC), promised VTEC will aid the program in finance and gifts. He said that the Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper has organized a highly significant program for the children. We not only give our mind to improve their material life, but also the spiritual life.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Han, director of Phu Nhuan Service Joint Stock Company (MASECO), donated VND20 million. Besides, his company will organize a karaoke contest for children.
Mr. Nguyen The Hau, director of Fidico Joint-Stock Company, also agreed to support VND10 million. And Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, representative of Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs' Club, said that the club’s leaders will encourage its members to take part in this program. On behalf of the club, she handed over VND10 million.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Phiet, director of Huu Nghi Garment and Trade Company 2, will give out their products to children and call for the staff’s financial aid to the program.
Besides, the Technology Joint Stock Company sent 1,000 toys of 3D grafting houses. Ho Chi Minh City Plastic Association and the Chemical Cosmetic Association of Ho Chi Minh City also promised to support the program.
The Education and Training Office of District 12 organized the doll collection day yesterday and sent 2,480 dolls to the management board.
The fund of “Doll’s House” raised VND 225 million to May 10.
