Japan helps VN in anti- piracy training

The Japan Coast Guard (JCG) yesterday launched a traveling plan for 40 meters- patrol vessel Echigo to Vietnam and the Philippines to participate in anti-piracy training program.

As plan, Echigo will leave Niigata port of Japan on May 24 to dock at Da Nang port on June 13. 

This is considered as part of activities within a framework of anti- piracy cooperation program of Japan held in the Southeast Asian countries, including Vietnam, aiming to boost executive ability of coast guards and cooperation relationship with the Southeast Asian countries in the field.
