Nam Dinh Province is planning a series of activities to celebrate the 100th birthday of late Party General Secretary Truong Chinh (Feb 9).The provincial Youth Union will hold a contest on the life and career of the late General Secretary with the participation of over 100,000 young people.

An exhibition displaying documents, artifacts and photos of Mr. Truong Chinh is being prepared by the Nam Dinh Culture and Information Department and the province’s museum.
The construction of a monument complex of Mr. Truong Chinh, including his statue, is on progress.
The province will also hold workshops, musical shows and song-composing contest and publish a book about the brilliant revolutionary man.
